Kelli is a doctoral student studying nutrition and food science. She grew up outside of Richmond, Virginia and graduated with a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2014. After graduating she completed her dietetic internship at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems and became a Registered Dietitian before moving to Tallahassee to pursue her graduate studies. Kelli is pursuing a career as a professor and looks forward to teaching new generations of students and researching the role of functional foods in promoting optimal health.
