Timothy Kight
Timothy Kight is a master’s student in finance from Pensacola, Florida. He graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as a bachelor’s degree in finance. As an undergraduate student, Timothy worked at the Academic Center for Excellence, where he tutored students in various accounting and finance coursework. In his time as a tutor for A.C.E., he was nominated for the Student Employee of the Year Award. He also worked with the United Way of the Big Bend as an intern for a full tax season, preparing and reviewing tax returns for low-income families. As a graduate student, he seeks to learn the expertise needed to be successful as a financial analyst or financial advisor. Timothy is pursuing a career where he can build relationships with his clients, and plans to get his start in Seattle, Washington. Outside of his academic and professional careers, Timothy enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering, and spending time in nature. His favorite experience at Florida State University has been living in the Southern Scholarship Foundation, which he advocates to any students who have achieved academic success in high school and have financial need.
