College of Motion Picture Arts

The Film School is dedicated to preparing graduate and undergraduate students for successful careers in the motion picture industry. The Hollywood Reporter has hailed the College as one of the world’s best.

Their mission is to prepare students for the film industry by teaching students the craft of contemporary filmaking – where live production, visual effects, and animation all converge – and by focusing on the most important and enduring commodity in their industry: the art of storytelling.

Program available to undergraduate students is the BFA in Motion Picture Arts, where students learn the art of Production and Animation and Digital Arts. In the MFA program graduate students learn the art of Production and Writing. The College also offers a non-degree-granting academic program called The Torchlight Program. The program serves as a gateway between school and career by providing instruction in current and emerging business practices of the motion picture industry.
