College of Nursing

The College of Nursing was founded in 1950 and is the first nationally accredited baccalaureate degree program in nursing in the state of Florida. With over 7,000 graduates, the College has a proud history of preparing nurses for professional practice and research in diverse settings.

According to their mission statement, the College of Nursing educates clinicians, leaders, scholars, and advanced practioners who can enhance the quality of life for people of all cultures, economic levels, and geographic locations. The College integrates the liberal arts and sciences with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes essential for lifelong learning, personal responsibility, and sustained acheivement in the nursing profession and the communities in which our graduates reside.

Doctor of Nursing Practice, MSN Nurse Leader, Accelerated BSN, BSN, and Veterans BSN Programs are available in the College.
