Pablo Giuliani was born in 1991 in Caracas, Venezuela to an Uruguayan family. He studied music at Conservatorio Juan José Landaeta and his undergraduate in Physics at Universidad Simón Bolívar, both in Caracas. In August 2015 he moved to Tallahassee, Florida to begin his PhD in Physics at FSU, where he is currently enrolled working with his advisor Jorge Piekarewicz in the nuclear theory group. Together with Jorge, Pablo has explored the application of many techniques from machine learning, statistics and information theory to attack nuclear physics problems like extrapolations in the nuclear table, the proton radius puzzle and the determination of the neutron skin thickness in heavy nuclei. He has been involved in teaching under T.A. assignments on several semesters, an activity he enjoys very much. He aspires to be faculty at a university in the future to continue his teaching and research endeavors, his two main passions.
