Pengpeng Wang was born in 1991 in the city of Tianjin, China. She grew up in Tianjin and received a Bachelor of Science in Statistics in 2014 from Nankai Univeristy, China. Now she is a 5th year PhD candidate in Statistics at Florida State University. Pengpeng enjoys teaching and giving presentations. She thrived in her role as a teaching assistant from 2014 to 2017. She was one of the finalists in the competitive Three-Minute Thesis presentation competition at Florida State University in 2018. Outside of academics, Pengpeng loves playing table tennis. She is currently the president of the FSU Table Tennis Club.
