Jens Foell

Phantom Limbs and Perceived Pain | Jens Foell | TEDxFSU | English | September 22, 2017

Jens Foell was born and raised in Southern Germany, studied Psychology at the University of Tübingen and received his PhD in Neuropsychology from Heidelberg University. His PhD work studied the effects of successful pain therapy on the brain organization of patients with chronic phantom limb pain. In 2012 he transferred to Florida State University for postdoctoral work using functional magnetic resonance imaging to study depression, anxiety, and psychopathy.
