Po-Hsiu is currently pursuing his Ph. D. degree under the supervision of Dr. Yan-Yan Hu in the Chemistry Department at the Florida State University. Since 2015, his research has been focusing on the Chemistry of solid-state electrolytes, a key component for the developing rechargeable solid-state lithium ion batteries, with various characterization tools such as solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. Meanwhile, he has a great interest in teaching Chemistry. In 2015 and 2016, he won the outstanding teaching assistant award from the Chemistry Department. Besides chemistry experiments and teaching duties, he also loves landscape and portrait photography and enjoys hiking and swimming. Being a growing chemist, Po-Hsiu reminds himself of a simple rule: pay attention to details.
